Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi has confirmed that brutal hack-‘em-up Ninja Gaiden III will be released in March 2012.
Hayashi-san made the comments during an event in San Francisco yesterday, reports Joystiq.
The sequel will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with plans for a Wii U version later down the line. It’s the first Ninja Gaiden game not to be developed with involvement from series creator Tomonobu Itagaki.
Ninja Gaiden will also be coming to PlayStation Vita in the form of a tweaked port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, previously released on PS3, complete with touch-screen controls.
