No Rest for the Wicked is now due for release in March 2027, Moon Studios has announced. The game was previously planned to launch in October this year, and was made available for PC via Early Access in April 2024.
Moon Studios stated that the extra development time will allow the team to “improve gameplay performance, tighten the class system, and polish the game to the standard it deserves.” The company said that additional closed beta tests will be held in the coming months, with an open beta set for December.
Future update will be provided in the Wicked Inside video developer diaries, where Moon Studios “will share more details and nuances at the time and in the format that is most relevant to the game’s progress.” In addition, the cutoff date for the Founders Pack has been moved to January 1, 2027 as a result of the delay for PC players, while PS5 preorders will go live in January and also includes the Founders Pack, which includes the following:
- A New Secret Hideout: Spirit Cavern – The legacy of Moon Studios now lives inside No Rest for the Wicked. A hand-crafted home that bridges both worlds.
- Sayer’s Vow – An all new Sword in the stone that only early adopters can extract in the game world.
- A Custom Founders Tag – Ensures players are clearly identified as early adopters.
- Exclusive Public Beta Test Realm – As a Founder member, players will get access to an exclusive Public Beta Test Realm reserved just for them, even after the 1.0 game launch.
No Rest for the Wicked will now launch in March 2027 for PS5 and PC.
