Octodad: Dadliest Catch pushed back to April on PS4

Potential suitors of Young Horses’ idiosyncratic indie hit, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, will have to wait until April at the earliest to get their grubby mitts on the game, according to the developer’s official Twitter.

The reveal comes after a query from a fan about the state of the game on PlayStation 4, which has already seen an ambivalent release on PC most recently.

It is perhaps a blessing in disguise, with Young Horses now having more time to add polish and sheen to the title, which has split opinion straight down the middle in the past few weeks. As well, with March being chock-full with games on both the PS4 and PS3 it may come as a welcome relief to many gamers who simply don’t have the time at the moment to delve into the zany world that Octodad presents.

Stay tuned for our Octodad: Dadliest Catch review in the near future, and as ever give us your thoughts on the delay below.
