You can stop crossing your fingers in hopeful anticipation now, PS4-owning RPG lovers. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir – the high-definition remake of Vanillaware’s seminal PS2 role-playing title, Odin Sphere – has been confirmed for a North American release.
Announced initially for only a Japanese launch earlier this week by publisher Atlus, gaming website IGN has gotten confirmation of a 2016 release in the Americas – news that will undoubtedly be welcomed by the vast majority of role-playing game fans.
The remaster will include enhanced graphics, upgraded mechanics, a redrawn art style, and a refined combat system; all in all it’s looking like a worthy re-release and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is scheduled for release both physically and digitally on PS4,PS3, and PS Vita.
