If you purchased a 5th or 6th generation video game console, you are eligible to receive at least $10 in a massive class action lawsuit against DRAM manufacturers.
Consoles that can be claimed include the Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Sony PlayStation, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, and the original Microsoft Xbox.
DRAM (dynamic random-access memory) manufacturers, like Samsung, Toshiba, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi, are accused of fixing the price of DRAM, causing consumers to pay more for DRAM and products that used it. A wide array of older electronics used DRAM: computers, graphics cards, printers, MP3 players/iPod, DVD players, Tivo/DVR and of course, video game consoles.
You have until August 1, 2014 to file a claim quickly and easily online or by mail. Proof of purchase is not required to file a claim but significantly large claims "will likely" need to. The qualifying electronics must have been purchased between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 2002.
