At this year's PlayStation Experience Gearbox Software confirmed that not only would Battleborn on PlayStation 4 support split-screen co-op (there are literally not enough games which do this) but that it would also have an open beta for all PS4 players beginning early in 2016.
Capping off the news was the announcement that the PS4 version would also get an exclusive hero; Toby, who looks like a murderous red robot with a massive range of melee and ranged attack abilities.
All in all, things are looking promising for fans of Gearbox Software's upcoming shooter
