Blizzard Entertainment will lift the wraps off Overwatch 2‘s PvP offering in a two-hour livestream next week, the developer has announced.
Aaron Keller, the newly-appointed director of Overwatch 2, confirmed the news in a video update as he takes over from Jeff Kaplan, who left Blizzard in April.
We’ve been hard at work on Overwatch 2, and we’d like to share some of what we’ve been doing with all of you. With that in mind, be sure to tune in on May 20 at 8.00pm/3.00pm EST for a looking at the Overwatch 2 PvP in action.

The livestream itself will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch, and includes appearances by Keller, Geoff Goodman (lead designer) and Dion Rogers (associate art director). Furthermore, we’re also promised playthroughs of the new maps featured in Overwatch 2 and general chatter about the changes being brought to PvP in the sequel.
Overwatch 2 is currently in development for PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, with a release date yet to be announced.
