Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Morgan Securities, has reiterated that his company expects the next Grand Theft Auto title to hit shops sometime during calendar 2010.
Despite this forecast, Pachter noted that there’s a chance the game may not arrive before the end of the fiscal year ending October 31, 2010, stating, “While we still expect a GTA game in calendar 2010, it is not clear that the game will be released before the end of Take-Two’s fiscal year ending October 31."
Anthony Gikas of Piper Jaffray also chipped in on the matter, believing GTA V will be unleashed in fiscal 2011 – in other words, the 12 months beginning November 1, 2010. As it stands, Take-Two is keeping mum on the next installment in the mammoth selling crime franchise, so don’t hold your breath for any new developments anytime soon.
