Grinding Gear Games has announced that Path of Exile II will exit Early Access on December 11, 2026 and launch in full for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Gems can be earned as you play through the campaign and combine them together to form your preferred build. Furthermore, Support Gems and now socketed directly into Skill Gems, which removes previous frustrations in the old system while retaining its depth.
Meanwhile, the Passive Skill Tree from the original Path of Exile makes a comeback, with 1,500 skills now available to fully customise your gameplay experience. Dual Specialisation will also be included, which allows you to allocate some passive skill points to two different sets of skills. These engage whenever the appropriate weapon or skill type is used.
Elsewhere, the sequel adds 700 equipment base types, each of which has its own unique item you can find, with players able to augment their arsenal with new weapons including Spears, Crossbows, and Flails. There’s also over 100 bosses to slug it out with across the campaign, each one featuring unique mechanics to learn.
Path of Exile II launches December 11.
