Persona 30th Anniversary website contains a brief mention of “the next chapter” in the much-loved franchise.
As part of the three-decade milestone this year, SEGA and Atlus are planning to mark the milestone with “special events, anniversary merchandise, and more.” Naturally, the one thing fans are looking forward to seeing is Persona 6, although right now Atlus has only confirmed Persona 4 Revival.
Users on social media have spotted that the Google snippet for the 30th anniversary site for Person reads as follows:
“2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Persona! Come celebrate the journey as we usher in the next chapter for the series.” Oddly enough, ‘the next chapter’ is not mentioned on the website itself.
Persona 6 hasn’t been officially announced yet by Atlus, but rumours about the game have been doing the rounds for a few years now. Back in September 2023, leaker ImAHeroToo stated that the title all be themed around black and white, and in March the following year it was stated by the same leaker that the Persona 6 would feature a semi-open world structure and more interactive Social Links.
Of course, it’s worth taking all this info with a pinch of salt, as it may not turn out to be accurate. For example, back in September 2024, X user and tipster P0wyful claimed that the title would be revealed at the 2024 Game Awards and launch in July the following year. That, obviously, didn’t happen!
