Physics-Based Multiplayer Title Party Animals Is Getting A PS5 Release

Recreate Games and Source Technology have announced that Party Animals, the physics-based multiplayer title that originally launched for PC and Xbox formats in 2023, is coming to the PS5 at an as-yet unspecified date.

Running on a unique physics engine developed by Recreate Games, Party Animals sees an array of cute critters such as supplies, kittens, bunnies, and more engaging in cooperative brawling as they wrestle, punch, throw and tussle through various task-oriented and competitive games. There’s local and online multiplayer available, including free-for-all skirmishes and objective-based antics across a varied batch of environments.

Party Animals‘ unique physics engine, developed in-house by Recreate Games, features completely physics-driven character movements, leading to seemingly haphazard, floppy encounters that are both unpredictable and hilarious. Get tangled up in a rumble with your friends and frenemies, and all you can do is hope for the best!
