Square Enix has revealed that gamers who play Final Fantasy Type-0 on PlayStation Vita will be able to use the handheld’s extra analogue stick to manipulate the camera.
The news comes following an event in Japan this week, where Hajime Tabata, Type-0’s director, observed that using the second analogue stick “ups the playability.”
Apparently, the multiplayer won’t be much of an issue for Vita either.
Square is hoping to bring Type-0 over to Vita’s UMD Passport initiative, allowing PlayStation Portable owners to download their old titles for use on Sony’s new handheld for a fee.
Type-0 was released in Japan a few months back, though has yet to receive a western makeover. However, Tabata has publicly said that Square is looking to bring the game to the U.S. and Europe at some point.
Stay tuned.
