Meet the PlayStation F.C. DualShock 4 controller!

Sony has announced a new Limited Edition DualShock 4 control pad, although its design is questionable at best.

The PlayStation F.C. DualShock 4 pad is due out on September 29 and appears to be designed to capitalize on the impending release of FIFA 18 and Pro Evolution Soccer 18.

Featuring a blue design, the F.C. DualShock 4 includes a penalty pitch design imprinted on the touchpad, as well as a ‘PlayStation F.C. logo on the bottom right of the pad. On the opposite side are a number of PlayStation button symbols arranged in a bespoke tactics pattern.

The new model will be available by 29th September across the region, just in time to celebrate the kick off of another epic season of football on PS4. So whether your opponent is on your sofa or the other side of the world, make sure you’re kitted out for victory with this limited edition design,” says Sony.

Overall, the design leaves a lot to be desired, and pales in comparison to the previous DualShock 4 pads we’ve seen designed around games, such as the upcoming Destiny 2 DualShock 4.

In a bizarre turn of events, despite the fact the pad is designed to celebrate The Beautiful Game, it won’t be released in the U.K. at all (or Australia or New Zealand for that matter). However, it will be released in all other major European regions.

Be sure to let us know your thoughts on the controller below.
