Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan has revealed that the console maker will launch two unannounced live service games by the end of the current fiscal year, which wraps in March of next year.
The executive said during a business meeting earlier today that it has one live service game out already in the shape of Sony San Diego Studio’s MLB The Show 22. However, when asked if any of the planned titles were already revealed or if Bungie has something lined up, Ryan responded:
“Destiny is not included in the three games slated for FY22. The two others are yet to be announced.” Elsewhere in the briefing, Ryan commented that Sony sees live service releases as “games with no end,” and we know that the company plans to launch 10 of them by 2026.
