PlayStation Home receives three new spaces every month

PlayStation Home is quickly becoming a publisher’s domain in the form of unique spaces that attract hundreds of thousands of gamers each week. Indeed, it doesn’t seem too long ago that Home felt like a dry wasteland, but now, with developers and publishers releasing fresh content through Home spaces specifically designed around titles like Resident Evil 5, Warhawk or even energy drink giant, Red Bull, visitors can partake in a whole new world of social interaction. Still, if you feel you’ve seen everything thus far, PlayStation Home director Jack Buser has assured punters that there’s plenty more to come from the service.

Buser has specified that Home users can expect to see roughly three new individual Home spaces each month. Considering there has been well over 20 companies signed up to distribute content within the application, this isn’t too surprising.

However, Buser also indicated that around a quarter of a million people will visit each Home space per week, staying for roughly 10 minutes each time. This is without a doubt an excellent opportunity to gain some advertising revenue through the social networking program.

While Buser didn’t reveal what Home spaces to expect next month, it is anticipated that the EA Sports Complex is among the many due to go live.
