TUESDAY, AUGUST 26
The developer behind the hotly anticipated science-fiction shoot-’em-up, Destiny, has confirmed that the game has gone gold ahead of its launch in early September.
New peripherals that force consumers to play games in a way that differs from the norm face a tough time. We saw with PlayStation Move that gamers initially enjoyed the novelty aspect with games like Sports Champions, but soon got bored and reverted back to using the controller.

PlayStation 3 owners represent a massive 45.8 percent of console traffic for popular Adult aggregate PornHub, a new study has shown.
Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator behind the PlayStation-exclusive Gran Turismo franchise, has cast a reflective glance on his time with Sony during an interview with Dengeki magazine (via Gematsu) commemorating 20 years since the original PlayStation launched in Japan.

Just when you thought Volition’s Saints Row couldn’t get any more manic, a new standalone expansion pack to complement the series’ fourth iteration has been announced which sees the Saints’ hero Johnny Gat thrust into Hell to battle Satan himself.
In a bid to complement the news that Volition is working on a Hell-bound standalone expansion to Saints Row IV, the developer has also announced that a remastered version of the fourth iteration will be hitting PS4 and Xbox One in January of next year.
