U.K. Charts: Call of Duty: Ghosts dethrones Assassin’s Creed 4

Call of Duty: Ghosts has maneuvered into first place on the U.K. All Format Chart following its global release last Tuesday.

Amazon has today launched their very own PlayStation Store, which will sell games for PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita. However, it has only launched in the U.S.

PS4 to hit 49 million sales by 2017, predicts analyst firm

PlayStation 4 will hit 49 million units sold by 2017, according to analyst firm IHS.

New Lord of the Rings game coming to PS4, unique gameplay promised

The December issue of GameInformer has some exciting news for Tolkien fans and gamers. Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced a new Lord of the Rings game, entitled Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor, which is planned for release on current and next-generation consoles.

The Last of Us’ first chunk of single-player DLC has been confirmed today by developer Naughty Dog.

EA denies previous claim that PS4 firmware 1.5 is cause of Day One issues

After telling its customers that PlayStation 4 game stability problems were being caused by firmware 1.5, EA has backed down from its claim and directed gamers to the official PlayStation support page.

PS4 Assassin’s Creed IV needs patch to run at 1080p

According to Ubisoft, the PS4 version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag currently runs at 900p resolution, but an upcoming patch will enable 1080p output.
