Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed a new 12-month subscription offer for its videogame streaming service, PlayStation Now.
Starting on December 8, users can pay $99.99 for 12-month unlimited access to a growing library of PS3 games that can be streamed directly to the PS4 via the PlayStation Now app.
The new price plan offers a 55 percent saving over the current monthly subscription offer.
PlayStation Now currently allows access to over 250 games, including titles from popular franchises like Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Dead Rising. Warner Bros. also plans to release some of its most revered titles, such as Batman Arkham Asylum and Injustice: Gods Among Us to the service on December 8.
Though Sony’s cloud-based streaming service currently offers only PS3 titles, there are plans to incorporate PS4 titles at a later date. In addition, it has also been reported that PSOne, PS2 and PSP games are being considered at some point down the line.
