Sony Ericsson today announced the Aino, an intuitive phone that, among other things, allows you to control your PlayStation 3 and access its media content anywhere, anytime using “Remote Play.”
The Aino will allow you to transfer, play and organize all your music, photos, videos and podcasts stored on your PS3, and control and access your media from your phone. You’ll be able to do this through a local network between your PS3 and Aino in your home, or via the Internet from anywhere in the world. European users can enjoy the PlayTV service on their phones, too.
The phone has a three-inch screen, and the usual phone features like an 8.1 megapixel camera, photo flash, a web browser, email, and more.
Look for the Aino in select markets later this year. No price has been announced at this time.

UPDATE: Just to clarify, the Aino does not support remote PS3 game access at this time. Only media access has been confirmed.
