PlayStation’s Most Completed Exclusives

Whilst fan-favorite consoles or the shift to PC will always be a hotly contested topic within the gaming space, one thing that stands out for every platform are the exclusive games they’re able to offer. Modern gaming has helped to pave the way for some of the most exciting and advanced games of all time too. With the holiday season bringing some greatly anticipated games including those found here on gamer.org, we’ll take a look at some of the most completed exclusives to be released on the PS4 and PS5 to date, and the impact they’ve had.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Depending on your age and when you started your gaming adventure, the Final Fantasy series ranging from FF6 to FF10 are considered by many to be some of the best RPG’s on the market with preference to which is the best of the FF series. Final Fantasy 7 garnered such a huge audience for its original Playstation 1 release and has remained as one of the most popular games of all time, so it’s no surprise to see such a storied game remade.

Whilst there were changes to certain aspects of the story, the games over 35% completion rate on PS5 shows just how popular the game still is today, bolstered even more by the fact the game had been offered for free on PS Plus for a time too. As fans eagerly await the second installment and the re-introduction of other favorite characters like Cait Sith and Vincent, a re-visit to this game shows just how impressive early use of the PS5 hardware has been.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

Whilst it has recently released on other platforms, Rift Apart was initially launched as a Playstation exclusive as with the other games in the Ratchet and Clank series, and to date could certainly be considered one of the most popular franchises in gaming. Bringing new, and old mechanics back to the popular series with the added power of the device hardware has shown the potential future for this beloved game series, and the fans and critics alike certainly enjoyed the game.

With over 42% completion rate amongst players, this game will go down as one of the best in the series, and continue to push for new games in the series.

Marvel’s Spider-Man & Miles Morales

Spider-Man games have always been hugely popular across their series, and in recent years with the improved hardware there’s something incredibly satisfying about swinging through New York even if not actually doing anything in the game. Spider Man has been considered to be one of the most successful first-party titles of all time, and the huge successful expansion for Miles Morales has helped the game grow even further, five years after it’s original release on the PS4.

With the main Spider-Man game have nearly 50% completion rate, and the Miles Morales expansion coming in just shy of that too, it’s hard to state just how enormous this game has been for Playstation. Given the huge success of the Spiderverse sequel and growing Marvel’s latest iteration of Spiderman being a home favorite, it seems the latest release has managed to beat all expectations.

The Last Of Us Part II

Originally released on the Playstation 4, TLOU PT2 was a bit of a mixed bag, despite having a huge Metacritic rating of 93, the user score was much lower and received a lot of mixed fan feedback. Despite this, the game has reached an enormous nearly 60% completion rate, showing just how popular the game was at the time. With the TV series being a huge hit, and the remake of the first game receiving the same mixed feedback, a confirmed remaster of TLOU Part 2 could change some minds and bring back some excitement for the third installment of the game
