John Buckley, Publishing Manager for Pockepair Publishing, has suggested that players shouldn’t expect more Palworld from the company.
While Pocketpair Publishing is a new branch of the studio that created Palworld, it isn’t related to the development of the game and therefore fans shouldn’t just assume the outfit is going to churn out more Palworld. Here’s what Buckley had to say in a post on X:
I’m very nervous to reveal our first batch of games. Not because I think the reception will be bad (they are all bangers), but because I worry people will just expect more Palworld. PPP’s goal is to help cool indies get made so I hope you like our first round of games!
Buckley added that ongoing development for Palworld is ‘completely unaffected by PPP’ and that ‘us publishing more games like Palworld’ isn’t part of the roadmap.
