GSC Game World has announced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will launch for PS5 on November 20, 2025.
Originally released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in November 2024, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 sees players taking on the role of a lone stalker set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, which has been altered dramatically since a second explosion in 2006. Players will explore a seamless and photorealistic open world across a 64-km² radioactive zone, shaping your story with branching paths along the way.

As you explore the post-apocalyptic landscape, you’ll come up against mutated creatures baying for your blood, each following a different behaviour model. Thanks to the different subtypes available, enemies will prove unpredictable, with some regions boasting lairs and large groups of foes that hunt together.
The most valuable artifacts and secrets of the Zone are hidden in the most dangerous places.
