Praey For The Gods is the kind of indie game that can get old PlayStation fans like myself quite excited. Clearly inspired by Shadow Of The Colossus, you’ll scale and defeat giant bosses across a sprawling open world, while surviving against the elements.
We still hadn’t heard about a release day for it, until our managing editor found it having released on the PlayStation Store – today. The game seems to have just dropped very suddenly, with a launch trailer only just coming out alongside.

While much of the game is inspired by Shadow Of The Colossus, developer No Matter Studios has also clearly fleshed out other aspects of the gameplay with more crafting and survival elements.
All together it looks like a beautiful game paying homage to a classic while making it into a more modern title. What do I know though, go try it for yourself!
