Sony Interactive Entertainment has now opened up preorders for the DualSense Edge controller, which the format holder confirmed will be released worldwide early next year on January 26, 2023.
In case you haven’t been keeping up, the PS5’s snazzy new controller is built with customisation in mind, allowing you to tinker with the likes of triggers, thumb sticks and back buttons. This degree of customisation doesn’t come cheap though: the DualSense Edge controller retails for £209.99/$199.99.
Preorders are now available in a number of regions including the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Here’s the official blurb from Sony:
The DualSense Edge wireless controller features a host of hardware and software-based personalization options, including button remapping, the ability to fine-tune stick sensitivity and triggers, options to swap between multiple control profiles, and a unique on-controller user interface.
The DualSense Edge controller will join the existing standard DualSense controller for the PS5, which is currently available in a variety of different colours. Furthermore, its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will be making the transition to the PSVR 2’s Sense controllers.
