Project CARS will be released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on May 8, 2015, Bandai Namco announced today.
The racer, which has attracted much attention thanks to its highly detailed graphics, has been the subject of numerous delays since last year.
Developed by Slightly Mad Studios, Project CARS was originally pencilled in for a late 2014 release, before being pushed back to an unspecified time in early 2015. This was confirmed as March, before the game was delayed again to followed by April, and finally, May. Up until now however, it was unclear as to when exactly next month we’d be able to get our hands on the game.
Project CARS will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One, although both versions will clock in at a silky smooth 60fps.
