The director and writer behind Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us has offered his thoughts on Sony’s recently-announced VR headset, Project Morpheus.
Posting on Twitter, Neil Druckmann revealed he feels the horror genre is an ideal fit for the new peripheral.
“Spent downtime at the airport brainstorming #ProjectMorpheus ideas with @bruce_straley. Conclusion, you can make the ultimate horror game," said Druckmann.
Project Morpheus was unveiled at GDC 2014 this week, and was demoed in a God of War environment by Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios boss, Shuhei Yoshida.
While Sony has yet to announce a price or release date for the device, it did indicate that the VR headset would be positioned at an ‘affordable’ price.
