Resident Evil turned 20 on March 22, 2016 having first launched on the PlayStation way back in 1996. Capcom currently has two titles in development: the squad-based shooter Umbrella Corps and a full-blown remake of 1998’s seminal Resident Evil 2.

In addition, the publisher is also re-releasing the mainline last-generation titles for PS4, with Resident Evil 6 having just hit the PlayStation Store. Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 will follow in fall and summer 2016, respectively.
