Sony recently confirmed the list of PS Plus March 2021 free games, which includes Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4.

PS Plus was originally launched back in 2010 during the PS3 era, during which time it was not necessary to purchase in order to play games online. The service expanded onto PS4 and incorporated free PS3, PS Vita and PS4 games in its monthly lineup, although these days PS Plus members receive free PS5 and PS4 titles.
The PS5 was released in November 2020 in the US and UK, and has sold over 4.5 million units worldwide as of January 1, 2021. However, the console has become increasingly harder to get hold of, as retailers struggle to receive fresh stock.
