PS Vita 2 Rumours Shot Down By Jeff Grubb, But Hints At Cloud-Streaming Handheld

Jeff Grubb has shot down hopes that Sony is secretly working on PS Vita 2 after reports emerged earlier this week of unannounced hardware unrelated to PS5 Pro is in the pipeline, suggesting folk should ‘scope down those expectations.’

Speaking on Twitter, Grubb has said that the only thing he’s heard about in the Sony camp is a handheld cloud-streaming platform, which obviously hasn’t been made official yet.

Sadly, the PS Vita couldn’t compete in an increasingly competitive market with mobile gaming and Nintendo DS largely eating up the lion’s share of consumers’ cash.
