This morning, during its pre-TGS conference, Sony announced that the PlayStation Vita will be receiving a larger Memory Card with a 64GB capacity, double the current highest, 32GB.
Only confirmed for Japan at this time, the 64GB card will retail for 9,980 yen which is about $100 and releases on October 10, 2013. This announcement coincides with the announcement of the new PS Vita model and PS Vita TV.
Gamers have wanted a 64GB card for their handheld for some time so hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s confirmed for the west. Any chance of a 128GB card as well?
