Sony appears to be getting closer to sorting out PSOne support for the PlayStation Vita following the appearance of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on the EU PS Vita store this week.
The PSOne Classic is listed for £3.99 and available for purchase, though players encounter an error screen when attempting to take it for a spin.
A user on NeoGAF notes that loading the title will fire up PS Vita’s PSP emulator, while inspecting the game displays a background similar to the PSOne’s disc tray.
Sony has already pledged to get PSOne support working for its new handheld, with Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Worldwide Studios, Tweeting the hardware manufacturer is “working hard” on the issue
