One of the most requested features for PlayStation Vita since launch is unequivocally the addition of PSone Classics, a service that Sony is finally making available for its new handheld next week.
Fortunately, it seems the hardware manufacturer is really stepping up to the plate for the launch of this retro range of gaming greats, confirming over 100 titles will be available for download on PS Vita.
Games include Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil 2, said Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) chief, Jim Ryan.
Sony unveiled full PSone support for PS Vita during its Gamescom press conference last Tuesday. It’ll arrive as part of the latest firmware update, v1.80, on August 28, 2012.
