Sony’s Andrew House announced during the firm’s Gamescom press conference today that it has slashed the price of the 12GB PlayStation 3 model.
The console will now retail for €199, which Sony believes is an ideal entry point for consumers who are jumping on board the PS3 bandwagon.
Sony confirmed earlier this week that the 12GB PS3 will also be available in North America, priced $199.
