Developer The Behemoth has let slip that the PlayStation 3 version of Castle Crashers is nearing completion, with the game having been recently shipped off for testing.
Writing in a post on its official blog, the company stated, "Our indefatigable programmers have been working their little fingers to the bone to make this game perfect for you.”
"We have now sent the title off to a 3rd party vendor for final testing before we begin the submission process with Sony."
Despite this, the firm added that a release date for the project has yet to be finalised, stating, "Much depends on how this final round of testing goes. But we are in the final stretch. And of course we will keep you posted when we know any firm, or even squishy dates."
Castle Crashers was originally released on Xbox 360 back in August 2008. The PS3 version of the side scrolling beat ‘em up will boast an exclusive mini-game offering known as Volleyball.
