BioWare has hinted that a patch for the PlayStation 3 version of RPG Dragon Age: Origins may be with us by the end of the week.
Word comes from producer Fernando Melo, who posted on the official BioWare forums that the patch has made it through to Sony, and while a release date hasn’t been decided, it may be available for download later this week.
"Just to let you all know that the patch has gone through EA Cert and has now made it to Sony’s hands! I don’t have an official release date estimate yet, but with a little bit of luck we may still see it late this week. I’ll update you when we know more.
The upcoming patch addresses:
– The high rate of crashing on firmware 3.3.
– The issue where redeeming codes was no longer showing the free download items.
– Adds the trophies for the upcoming Darkspawn Chronicles DLC
Once again, my sincere thanks to all of you that posted on here and helped us track this down," said Melo.
Fingers crossed, eh?
