Media Create has released the latest Japanese figures for the week of December 22-28, with PlayStation 3 maintaining a comfortable lead over Xbox 360 as the PlayStation Portable continues to snap at the heels of the Wii with 118,000 units sold.

Keep in mind that the majority of Japan doesn’t celebrate Christmas so don’t expect giant holiday sales like you see in North American and European territories.
