It’s not too common that a PS3 title reaches that elusive number one spot on Japan’s software charts. In fact, we’d call it downright rare (except on weeks of huge releases). Despite that stigma, one managed to this week.
Which one? Well, the Japanese sure love their anime, thus Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit surpassed the competition and sold 92,000 copies in its first week of release. What competition? While it did outsell Ninja Gaiden II, Burst Limit more impressively trumped the mighty Wii Fit, a title that everyone can’t seem to get enough of.
With Metal Gear Solid 4 out this week, we can’t imagine that Burst Limit will spend any longer in the spotlight. All you Dragon Ball fans, enjoy it while it lasts.
