Sony Computer Entertainment has trademarked the name HELLDIVERS and registered the domain name HELLDIVERSGAME.com ahead of GamesCom 2013 next week.
Clues to what the game is about are scarce, but some fingers point toward some kind of air combat title. As pointed out by Gamepur, a Helldiver was the name given to the first U.S. Marine Corps dive bombers.
However, we have potentially found another clue. Check out this resin figure that we found online as part of a model collection called Helldivers. Now that looks cool right?
Sony has previously stated that it plans to reveal news "on both announced and unannounced titles at its GamesCom press conference which is hosted next week and streamed live on PSU.com.
Could Helldivers be one of those announcements?
