ORIGINAL: If you’re looking forward to the PS4 free games announcement from Sony for PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2017 there isn’t long to wait.

Sony is poised to announced the PS Plus line-up for next month on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Sony reveals the new games coming free on PSN at approximately 4-5pm BST on the last Wednesday of every month.

Already there’s some hot PlayStation Plus rumors coming in that Sony may follow in the footsteps of PlayStation Japan and release one of the PS4’s first ever titles, Killzone ShadowFall.

You don’t have too long to download the July PlayStation Plus games, which expire in early August and are removed from the store. They include the fabulous Until Dawn and Telltale’s Game of Thrones.

Also, there’s some great sales going on over that PlayStation Store right now, following a stunning PSN Flash Sale which offered a ton of discounts on a range of PS4, PS3 and Vita titles.

It’s well worth checking out!

In other news, we’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of PS4 update 5.0, which is rumored to include some big new features. Top of that list for PS4 owners is the ability to change your PSN name. The beta is rolling out for the new firmware update soon, so we should hear an official announcement soon.
