PS4 game pre-orders dominate Amazon’s Top 20, while PS4 hardware tops the chart

Orders for new PlayStation 4 titles are dominating Amazon’s current videogame pre-order charts with Final Fantasy XV top of the list.

The top four pre-ordered games on Amazon are: Final Fantasy XV, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Kingdom Hearts 3 and The Order: 1886. Other games and PS4 peripherals in the top 20 include, the DualShock 4 controller, Call Of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Knack and Wolfenstein: The New Order. In comparison, the only Xbox One game in the top 20 is Titanfall which ranks right at the bottom.

Similarly, the PlayStation 4 dominates the overall gaming pre-order charts, with The Last Of Us on PS3 second and Xbox One third. The reason why Sony appears to be running away with pre-orders of its next-gen console could partly to do with price. While the PS4 costs £349, the Xbox One will cost consumers £429.

The PlayStation 4 was revealed to the world at E3 2013 this week. Stay tuned to PSU for all the news live from the show floor.
