PS4 has nabbed 70% of next-gen market share in Italy

According to VG247.it, Sony has revealed that it has captured an impressive 70 percent of the next-generation market share in Italy with the PlayStation 4.

In addition, the format holder confirmed that sales for its latest home console are tracking around 60 percent faster than its predecessor, the PlayStation 3. 

In regards to PlayStation Plus, Sony said that 50 percent of PS4 users have signed up for its flagship online service. 

Sony confirmed earlier this month that PS4 had sold over two million units in the U.K. since its launch in November 2013. The company said during its latest earnings call that the console has sold over 20 million units worlwide to date.
