Sony’s PlayStation 4 has reached the dizzying heights of 10 million units sold worldwide.
President and CEO of Sony Europe Jim Ryan announced the news at the beginning of Sony’s press conference on the floor of this year’s Gamescom in Cologne.
Perhaps most incredible, however, is that the feat was reached in just nine months. Ryan was also sure to safeguard against any semblance of complacency by stating that it’s just simply the start of PS4’s journey in the gaming world.
The PS4 launched back in November of last year and has been a resounding success, comfortably eclipsing its rival whilst at the same time delivering a plethora of stunning software.
