Retail giant GAME has reported that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold a combined total of 5.1 million units in the U.K.
Speaking during the company’s latest financial results earlier today, the retailer indicated that Sony’s current-generation console is outselling Microsoft’s machine by a total of one million units.
In addition, GAME notes that sales of PS4 and Xbox One are ‘well ahead’ of last-generation consoles at the same point in their lifecycle, with PS3 and Xbox 360 having reached around 3.5 million units at that stage.
Sony announced earlier this year that it had sold 35.9 million PS4 consoles worldwide since its launch in November 2013.
