The head of Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. has said that the PlayStation 4 is beating Xbox One sales in the country by a ratio of 1.5:1.
This is in strike contrast to Sony and Microsoft’s previous-generation consoles, which is the complete reverse: 1.5:1, in favour of Xbox 360.
PS4 has already sold 4.2 million units worldwide since its launch on November 15. The console’s success has cemented it as the fastest-selling games machine U.K. history.
By comparison, Xbox One has shipped 3.9 million units globally — that’s shipped, not sold.
The next batch of major PS4 releases include inFamous: Second Son and DriveClub.
