PS4 update 4.50 angers gamers with notifications screw up

PS4 update 4.50 is now available to download in the U.S. and Europe, bringing with it a plethora of additions including external HDD support, custom PS4 wallpapers, PS4 Pro Boost mode, and much more. However, it seems that it hasn’t all been a seamless transition for Sony, with users already noting one major flaw—notifications have taken a bit of a tumble.

Specifically, users are flocking to messages boards to report that the notification system is now a jumbled mess, as opposed to being sorted into individual categories like before. As such, you now have to scroll down a huge list in order to find the notification you want, as opposed to having them neatly sorted out to facilitate ease of browsing.

Fortunately this appears to be the only major discrepancy since the release of PS4 update 4.50, although we’ll be sure to keep an eye on things in case anything else rears its head. For now, check out the full list of features below and read our PS4 update 4.50 guide on how to set custom wallpapers.
