The PS5 has managed to outsell the Nintendo Switch in Japan this week, becoming the best-selling console in the country as a result during that period.
The Switch has consistently sold strongly in Japan since its launch in early 2017, and has many times outsold the PS5 on a weekly basis. However, the console is now approaching what is very likely to be its last major year on the market, as its successor is heavily rumoured to be launching later this year.

If that wasn’t enough, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently sitting in first place on the software charts with 30,220 units sold last week.
