Dbrand, Canadian company that usually specialises in mobile phone cases, has revealed it is preparing to accept orders for its own range of black PS5 faceplates, and has bullishly challenged Sony to ‘try’ and sue them.
Customers can now sign up for notifications for when the matte black PS5 faceplates will be available, with Standard and Digital versions up for grabs at some point this year.
We’ll be entering mass production on PS5 Faceplates by year’s end. However, we won’t be accepting orders until we have stock at our Toronto HQ, ready to ship.

When asked by a user on Reddit if it fears legal action over its products, Dbrand responded with, “We encourage them to try.” Elsewhere, a caption on its Reddit post added, “sue us, Sony.”
Previously, Sony threatened legal action against PlateStation5, who were forced to change their name to CustomiseMyPlates.
