PS5 Is Reportedly Set To Receive Even More Xbox Games Via Microsoft’s Latitude Project

A report on Windows Central has claimed that Microsoft is looking to bring even more Xbox games to PS5 as part of its new Latitude project aimed at pushing multiplatform titles.

So far we’ve seen for titles arrive for Sony’s console including Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment and Sea of Thieves, but Microsoft isn’t reportedly stopping there, as there’s apparently no ‘red line’ when it comes to what titles may come to the PS5.

More upcoming Microsoft-owned games slated for PlayStation are already being developed. At least for now, they’re potentially obvious games you’d most likely expect. From what I’ve heard, Microsoft is pushing for no ‘red line’ for what games could come to PlayStation, and it all revolves around [CEO] Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood’s mandate to increase every department’s margins.

The initial batch of Xbox games that hit PS5 have performed strongly so far, with Microsoft stating as a result that it is committed to ‘meeting players where they are.’ Presumably if there’s no red line in regards to what games may appear on Sony’s platform, then we could one day see the likes of Halo or Gears of War on a PlayStation console.

One game that was recently suggested could appear on PS5 is Hellblade 2, which is out this month for Xbox Series X/S and is obviously a major exclusive for the system.
