PS5 Pro Hasn’t Sold Out In UK Or US On PS Direct As High Price Point May See It Readily Available This Holiday Season

The PS5 Pro saw preorders live on PlayStation Direct late last week, and unsurprisingly, the initial batch of stock sold out fast. However, as noted by The Verge’s Tom Warren, Sony has since added more consoles available via the website, so you still have a chance to get one (plus, retailers will be going live with preorders on October 10).

Warren speculates that the signs are positive that we will see PS5 Pro available this holiday season without too much trouble, which probably isn’t surprising given how much the high-end machine is going for. After all, the console is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea- and let’s face it, with the cost of living nowadays, it’s not going to be affordable for some – so many will stick with their current PS5s.

The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday

The PS5 Pro offers considerably more powerful technical muscle under the hood than its standard counterpart, allowing for higher fidelity visuals and improved frame rates. One of the major features is PlayStation Spectral Special Resolution (PSSR) to upscale images using AI technology, as well as the PS5 Pro Enhanced label, which greatly enhances the performance of compatible games.
