Sony has started rolling out the PS5 Remote Play app to PS4 consoles across the globe, and you won’t need to download an update to see it – the feature has just started popping up on the user interface.
PS5 Remote Play App Spotted On PS4s
The PS5 remote play app pretty much does what it says on the tin; it allows you to stream the new console onto the PS4, which comes in handy if your PS5 isn’t nearby or in your primary gaming setup. It also works the other way around, too.
It’s probably a good idea to see if your PS4 is displaying the PS5 Remote Play app now, just in case!
Sony will launch the PS5 in the US and Japan on November 12 and will follow it up with a UK and European release on November 19. The console will be going up against the Xbox Series X/S, which arrives tomorrow worldwide.
